It is all about triathlon for me!! In 1999 I competed in my first Ironman race in Penticton, B.C.to see if I could do it. Well I did and inspired myself and my husband along the way. I have now completed 8 Ironman distance races and have qualified for the Ironman World Championships, the Olympic Distance Age Group Championships , the Long Course Championships and have been a member of the Provincial team for 4 years and the Natonal Age Group Team. I presently work as a Coach, Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer Pilates Instructor,Life Coach and am a Registered Massage Therapist. I am passionate about the sport of triathlon and motivating others to set goals and challenge themselve. I believe that we don't know our true abilities until we challenge ourselves to push past them! My mantra is a quote from an incredible man and athlete Jon Blaise who died of ALS in 2009- he called himself the warrior poet and his saying was; "Face your fears and Live your dreams" which is what Jon did and we can all learn from that and move forward.
